Ravens Unveil First Wave of New Upgrades to M&T Bank Stadium
BALTIMORE, MD — The Baltimore Ravens have taken a bold step into the future of fan experience and stadium innovation, officially unveiling the first wave of multi-phase upgrades to M&T Bank Stadium. These renovations mark the beginning of a comprehensive $450 million investment into one of the NFL’s most iconic venues, designed to transform the game-day environment and solidify the stadium’s place among the league’s elite facilities.
From cutting-edge technology to reimagined fan zones and enhanced premium seating, the Ravens are committed to delivering a next-generation experience that matches the energy and passion of the “Ravens Flock.” With construction already underway and several new features open to the public for the upcoming season, the organization is making it clear: the best is yet to come in Baltimore.
A Vision for the Future: The Master Plan
The upgrades are part of a long-term vision that extends through the 2026 NFL season, developed in collaboration with the Maryland Stadium Authority. The enhancements are focused on four core areas: fan experience, technology integration, hospitality, and stadium infrastructure.
Ravens President Sashi Brown called the unveiling a major milestone.
“This is about more than bricks and mortar,” Brown said. “This is about honoring our incredible fan base by creating a stadium that energizes game day and connects people to the team and each other in new and powerful ways. It’s about investing in the future of football in Baltimore.”
New Entry Plazas and Open-Air Social Zones
One of the most noticeable changes for fans arriving at M&T Bank Stadium this season will be the completely redesigned north and south end zone plazas. These spaces have been reimagined into open-air social areas that combine aesthetic appeal with modern conveniences.
The North Plaza now features a sleek, expansive open space with new digital signage, LED lighting, and interactive elements. This area will serve as a gathering place for fans before and after games, with live music, food trucks, and large video boards broadcasting NFL action around the league.
Meanwhile, The South Plaza, traditionally known for tailgates and pre-game energy, has been transformed into a fan village experience. With pop-up bars, photo ops, Ravens legends meet-and-greets, and curated sponsor activations, the goal is to offer a festival-style vibe each game day.
“We’re not just improving access—we’re creating experiences,” said Senior VP of Stadium Operations Rich Tamayo. “These plazas are the new front porch of the Ravens’ home.”
Expanded Video Boards and Sound Systems
Inside the stadium, fans will be greeted by a massive upgrade in visual and auditory technology. The Ravens have installed two state-of-the-art LED video boards that are nearly twice the size of the previous displays. Located behind each end zone, these high-resolution boards will enhance replays, highlights, and in-game graphics, delivering an immersive viewing experience from every seat.
Accompanying the new boards is a completely revamped sound system, designed to produce clearer, more dynamic audio throughout the stadium. From the roar of the crowd to the intensity of on-field action, every decibel will now resonate with higher fidelity and impact.
