The Browns announced Saturday they have signed the Cleveland native to a one-year deal.
Baker, a standout and state champion at Benedictine High School, went onto play at Ohio State University from 2015 to 2017.
Drafted in the third round of the 2018 NFL draft by Miami, Baker has appeared in 104 career games with 90 starts. He has registered 632 career tackles, 24.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, five interceptions and one fumble recovery
Now in his 8th NFL season, Baker has also played with Seattle and Tennessee.
Baker’s signing comes as the Browns await the return of linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah who suffered a serious neck injury during a home game against the Ravens last season.
