The New York Jets are gearing up for a visit from Minnesota offensive tackle Aireontae Ersery, who is projected as one of the top prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft. According to Cameron Wolfe, Ersery will be meeting with the Jets as part of their pre-draft evaluations.
Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing in at 331 pounds, Ersery has been a standout performer on the offensive line for Minnesota. Over the course of three seasons, he started 38 games at left tackle, earning recognition as the Big Ten Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year and securing Second-Team All-American honors in 2024.
Known for his physicality and strong run-blocking ability, Ersery combines a powerful frame with a set of long arms (33⅛ inches) that make him a force in the trenches. Additionally, his pass protection has been solid throughout his career, having allowed just five sacks. His athleticism is also evident, with an impressive 9.89 RAS score and a 5.01-second 40-yard dash time.
While his upright stance and lateral quickness may require some refinement, Ersery’s potential as a Day 2 pick in the draft remains high, with starter potential both at tackle and potentially at guard. As teams continue to assess their needs along the offensive line, the Jets are clearly making Ersery a priority in their pre-draft process.
