BREAKING: San Francisco 49ers & Cleveland Browns Are Reportedly Engaging In Blockbuster Trade Talks Involving Brandon Aiyuk

Posted on April 21, 2025 by admin

The San Francisco 49ers are already going to look different in 2025, and now it may be even more so if they unload Brandon Aiyuk.

On Sunday, news broke that the Steelers have acquired Seattle’s D.K. Metcalf.

That was one domino to fall.

Now, another one might fall when it comes to Aiyuk.

The San Francisco 49ers have already traded Deebo Samuel this offseason. They could strike1 anothershocking trade to help get younger and prepare for the future.

A new rumor says the team is in trade talks that could send Brandon Aiyuk to the Cleveland Browns.

Aiyuk recently signed a four-year, $120 million contract, but it looks like the team is already trying to move on from him.

While trading Aiyuk might help the 49ers offload a hefty contract, it raises concerns about the team’s depth at wide receiver.

Losing both Aiyuk and Samuel could leave quarterback Brock Purdy with significantly less offensive support.

Analyst Jeff Lloyd shared that rumors of trading for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk would not be a good move for the Browns.

Brandon Aiyuk Still Rehabbing From Torn ACL

Brandon Aiyuk tore his ACL in Week 7 of the last season, ending his year prematurely.

Even before that, he did not have a dynamic season on the field.

Last offseason, Aiyuk signed a four-year, $120 million deal and then hauled in 25 receptions for 374 receiving yards before suffering a season-ending ACL and MCL tear in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

He only had one game above 100 yards receiving, while the rest of his games showed him receiving under 50 yards in each contest. He also had zero touchdowns.
