Tom Brady, the undisputed face of NFL greatness and a living legend in New England, has officially signed a blockbuster $13.5 million deal with Netflix to headline and co-produce a seven-part series chronicling his two-decade-long dynasty run with the New England Patriots.
The streaming giant confirmed the deal in a joint announcement with Brady’s production company, 199 Productions. Titled “Foxborough: The Dynasty Years”, the series will dive deep into the highs, the heartbreaks, the rivalries, and the championship moments that defined a generation of football. From the improbable Super Bowl XXXVI win to the unforgettable 28-3 comeback in Super Bowl LI, the series promises unprecedented access, behind-the-scenes footage, and exclusive interviews with Brady, Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, and even longtime rivals like Peyton Manning and Eli Manning.
“People think they know the story, but they’ve only seen it from the outside,” Brady said in a statement. “This is the first time I’m telling it through my eyes—the grit, the doubt, the locker room fights, the cold mornings at Gillette, the legacy. This series is for the fans who rode every mile with us.”
Each episode will focus on a key era in the Patriots dynasty, structured as follows:
1. The Rise: How a sixth-round pick became the league’s greatest quarterback.
2. The Empire Begins: The early 2000s and the first ring.
3. The Perfection That Wasn’t: The 2007 undefeated season and Super Bowl XLII heartbreak.
4. The Dynasty Reborn: Overcoming adversity and the retooling years.
5. The Greatest Comeback: Super Bowl LI and the Falcons collapse.
6. The Final Ring: Closing out the Patriots chapter with the 2019 title.
7. The Farewell: Brady’s departure and his emotional goodbye to New England.
Netflix executives described the project as “the sports version of The Last Dance, but bigger.” Filming began earlier this year with Brady sitting down for multiple days of candid, no-holds-barred interviews, including commentary on the infamous “Deflategate” scandal, his strained yet legendary relationship with Belichick, and what truly drove him to leave for Tampa Bay in 2020.
The series will also shine a spotlight on the cultural phenomenon that was “The Patriot Way,” delving into the team’s philosophy, their controversies, and the fans who stood by through every snap.
Patriots fans have erupted with excitement across social media, already calling the series “must-watch history.” Tickets to a special premiere screening in Boston sold out within minutes of the announcement.
Set to debut in early 2026, “Foxborough: The Dynasty Years” will not only reignite nostalgia for a golden era in football but also set a new standard for sports storytelling. As Brady transitions from quarterback to media mogul, one thing remains certain: his story—and his legacy—are far from over.
