We’ve gathered a complete list of fully financed international student scholarships. This is by no means a full list, but it does provide an excellent overview of scholarship opportunities.
What does it mean to have a scholarship that is completely funded?
“Scholarships that at least cover full tuition and living expenses,” we define fully funded scholarships. We classify a scholarship as fully financed if it fits those conditions. This is distinct from full-tuition scholarships, which simply cover tuition.
Some fully financed overseas student scholarships, such as those offered by the government, include additional privileges such as flight tickets and language classes. These will also be mentioned in this post.
Is there a difference between a full-ride scholarship and one that is completely funded?
No, they have the same meaning. Full ride and completely funded scholarships cover full tuition, lodging, and board for undergraduate students and full tuition and a living stipend for Masters and PhD students, respectively. Full-ride scholarships are more commonly associated with undergraduate scholarships, however there is no distinction between the two phrases.
Check out Undergraduate Scholarships, Master’s Scholarships, and PhD Scholarships for a list of these scholarships organized by degree.
What criteria must international students meet in order to be considered for these fully funded scholarships?
Scholarships have different requirements. Most scholarships, on the other hand, require you to achieve a high score on English Proficiency exams such as TOEFL and IELTS, as well as suitable tests such as the SAT/ACT for prospective undergraduate students and the GRE for potential graduate students. They will also need to achieve outstanding grades and recommendations.
It’s worth noting that only a small percentage of international students who meet these requirements receive fully financed scholarships. Because there are often more qualified students than seats available, you’ll need to apply for multiple scholarships to enhance your chances of receiving a fully funded one.
